A Pizza Kind of Day

Hey ladies and Homeschool Moms! 🙂 it may not be Fun Friday, but we’re making the most out of this Pizza Kind of Day! 🍕🍴 As we near the end of the semester, we’re adding a little more excitement to our day. Today, the boys had a blast in our cooking class, making their very first mini pizzas. Who doesn’t like pizza right?

The boys were so excited about this one. They couldn't wait to get started on their very own mini pizzas. I decided to take 15 minutes out of there recess time. I normally give them a 30 minute out door time but today they didn’t mind breaking there play time in half. The prep time took about 10 minutes.

To make things a little easier, we opted for Stonefire Naan Rounds as the base of our pizzas. Not only are they delicious, but they also make the perfect size for mini pizzas.

We started by spooning on some Trader Joe's organic tomato basil marinara sauce onto each Naan Round. Then, the boys got to sprinkle on their own mix of shredded cheese and mozzarella cheese. This was the perfect opportunity to let them get creative and make their own unique pizza creations.

After the toppings were added, we popped the mini pizzas into the oven at 400 degrees for 5-6 minutes. This was just enough time to melt the cheese and crisp up the edges of the Naan Rounds.

Once the pizzas were done, the boys were absolutely thrilled with the results. They couldn't wait to dive in and taste their delicious creations. Each pizza was bursting with flavor, and the combination of the Naan Rounds, tomato basil marinara sauce, and melted cheese was a real winner.

Overall, our pizza day was a huge success. It was a great way to break up the day and inject a little fun and excitement into our routine. Plus, the boys had a great time working together and creating their own mini pizzas. It just goes to show that sometimes, the simplest things can bring the most joy. Who knows, maybe we'll make pizza day a regular occurrence around here!
